What is AdRoast?

AdRoast is an ad studio for local shops and DTC brands. Paste a product URL or photo, pick one of 1,000+ presets, and get image and video ads from this AI ad generator and ad maker. No prompt. After the ads are made, we score each one against $25B of real ad spend so you can see if the hook and offer are weak before you buy the click.

Do I need to know how to prompt?

No. Most people have no idea what a prompt even is — and you don't need to. Just pick a preset, add your product, and generate. The AI handles the rest.

Is this only for e-commerce?

Not at all. AdRoast works just as well for local business owners — cafes, gyms, salons, dentists, services — even if you've never used an AI tool before.

How does the roasting work?

Upload an ad on Roast my ad or in the app. Ten weighted pillars — hook, offer, and scroll-stop count most — blend toward the weakest pillar, with a penalty under 50 and a cap of 98. You see the math, then generate 3 variants. Scoring is trained on over $25 billion in real ad spend.

Can I roast an ad without signing up?

Yes. Open Roast my ad, upload a creative, and get four checks: scroll-stop, offer in 3 seconds, whether a stranger knows what you sell, and whether it looks generic. Then generate 3 variants. The score shows the formula, not a mystery number.

Can I edit my ads?

Yes. Edit any ad with AI — remove distractions, swap backgrounds, add headlines, retouch the product — then we roast it again so you can keep improving until it's launch-ready.

What is Social Pack?

Can I start for free?

Yes. You can save your first preview and use the Free plan without a card. Eligible new verified accounts can also choose a paid plan and start a card-required 3-day trial with unlimited image generations, AI edits, variations, regenerations, and Social Pack. Video ads unlock after you upgrade.

How does the 3-day unlimited trial work?

The trial starts only after Stripe confirms your card and subscription. Image tools are unlimited during the 3 days, subject to fair-use concurrency limits. Video ads are locked until you upgrade off the trial. Unless you cancel before the displayed end time, Stripe charges the selected monthly price or the full disclosed annual amount. Canceling ends the trial immediately: unlimited access stops and the workspace returns to Free credits. You will not be charged, and you cannot restart the trial.
